ATTENTION: HIS SHEKINAH GLORY IS COMING

“Surely His salvation is near to those who reverently and worshipfully fear Him, [and is ready to be appropriated] that [the manifest presence of God, His] glory may tabernacle and abide in our land.” Psalm 85:9 (AMPC) Please pray before reading.

Remnant, we all know that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10), however today let’s dissect just how wise it is to have a reverential fear towards God.

We see in this first verse above that in connection with His salvation, those who fear Him will experience the manifest presence of God, and His glory will tabernacle and abide in our land! This is speaking of His Shekinah glory, and it is certainly something to be passionate about!

To get a better idea of what His Shekinah glory looks like, we read on in Psalm 85. “Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other. Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.Yes, the Lord shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase. Righteousness shall go before Him; and shall make His footsteps our pathway.” Psalms 85:10-13 (NKJV)

True believers expect His glory is not only coming to our land but will abide in our land. No one can explain what is in the heart of a true believer better than the Word of God. “But we look for new heavens and a new earth according to His promise, in which righteousness (uprightness, freedom from sin, and right standing with God) is to abide.” 2 Peter 3:13 (AMPC)

As 2 Peter says, this is something that God has already promised us, and all who have a reverential fear towards God will receive this, for God is NOT slack concerning His promises but is faithful upon His deliverance.

“but truly, as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord—” Numbers 14:21 (KJV)
